18 November 2015 - The European Union Film Festival (EUFF) marks its exhilarating return to selected Golden Screen Cinemas with critically-acclaimed movies from across Europe. Now in its 16th year in Malaysia, this much-anticipated event promises to showcase the dynamism, breadth and innovation of contemporary European cinema.

The EUFF takes place in four cities nationwide, kicking off on 29 October – 8 November, with Kota Kinabalu screenings from the 10th to 16th December at GSC Suria Sabah.

Trophy magnets and indie darlings are abound in this year’s line-up - Academy Award winner Ida, Berlinale-decorated Aferim!, FIPRESCI-recognised A Hijacking and Phoenix as well as throught-provoking Dead Man Talking, share equal billing with crowd pleasers the likes of Revival, The Chair of Happiness, Sweet Little Lies, Someone Like Me and novel-based The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared. All EUFF films are presented in their original language with English subtitles.
